10/10 Loved this place. Also, for me, it was awesome to see a distilery in PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY. (All shade to PGC for not doing more to encourage distillers that could bring more economic growth to the region...anyway). My friend and I went to this small distillery, and the co-owner Brian was exceptionally personable. He gave a full tour of the operation and told us how the idea was concieved and everything. He informed us of where they get their ingredients and how long each product takes to make. Btw, they do host events like art gallery expeditions in spring and a Dia de los Muertos event in the fall. I apologize for the delay in sharing this review, but I had a wonderful time with Arthur and Brian at the restaurant on Saturday! My family visited from Michigan to celebrate my father and cousin, and we had a tour with Arthur. It was clear to see his passion for distilling and his enthusiasm was contagious. He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to explain the process to those of us who were less familiar. I had an amazing experience at Shmidt Spirits, with a rating of 10/10. I first discovered this place through a Yelp Elite event and was thrilled to find out it's conveniently located in PG County. The owner, Arthur, truly made the experience unforgettable with his passion for the products. He was more than happy to answer all of our questions and share the story of how he started the business. The cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced, making it a perfect spot for a date night or outing with friends. I will definitely be returning for their future events.
Arthur Brian were great hosts. The tour was very educational, and the post tour sampling was fun. They are a fairly new business (2/3 years) but I can definitely see great expansion for them in the future.Definitely purchase their bourbon!

Arthur was extremely helpful when I booked my tour. My group had a great time! The tour and tasting were very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it for a group activity or even a date night - a new place to try in the area.
Thank you Yelp MD burbs for this event! The place is tucked in a spot hard to find initially. The place has really good spread of spirits. The Halloween theme at the event was made to heighten the spirits of the guests.
Awesome place to stop by. They have free tastings and you can do the tour for a fair price. Arthur and Brian are super cool and will serve you a real nice cocktail.
