So, I'm passing through the area. I stopped for the night and didn't want the fast food experience for dinner. I see Shoney's close to my hotel. I haven't been to a Shoney's in 30 plus years. I order the fried fish from my server, Amaya, who was very cheerful and professional. The fish was cooked to a crispy golden brown perfect. Thanks for a great dinner and excellent service.
The service here is welcoming and friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere. They offer a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The salad bar features a nice variety, and the vegetables are quite tasty. For dessert, there are several options, including fruit, strawberry shortcake, bread pudding, and cobbler.
Waitress tried to tell us that we were getting the breakfast buffet instead of asking what we wanted. My breakfast potatoes and my son's pancakes were lukewarm at best. His over easy eggs and my omelet were the only hot things that we paid for...

Had doubts on going but it turned out to be a good experience. Service was on point as well as the food. It was wing night and I enjoyed it.
Food was just okay, but in their defense, we dis get there a half hour before closing. Service was polite. Place could a face-lift.
