In my previous experiences with Georgian cuisine, I had mostly focused on khachapuri— the cheese-filled bread boat. So this time, I decided to go for something a bit lighter and try other dishes. We ordered the following: - **Strawberry Compote**: A very sweet and syrupy strawberry juice that I wouldn’t recommend. - **Shoti (Grilled Bread)**: The first plate is complimentary, but extra servings are $3, and it’s absolutely worth it. It’s warm, perfectly grilled, and comes with butter on the side. - **Potato Pancake**: I was unsure if it was meant to be soft, but I was expecting it to be crispy. - **Khashi (Beef Tripe and Leg Soup)**: I’ve tried this soup elsewhere, but this version was a bi...

As a Hispanic individual, I was a bit hesitant about trying a completely new type of food, but the menu was refreshingly diverse, offering a wide range of choices. While most items were unfamiliar to me, that only added to the excitement of the experience. To my surprise, the flavors in Georgian food were not as far removed from my usual Hispanic dishes as I had anticipated. However, the unique combination of spices and ingredients made it an unforgettable culinary adventure. Each dish was bursting with delightful flavors that truly excited my palate. If you’re looking for a new and thrilling dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit. The mix of familiar and new flavors will tak...
The restaurant is located on a busy street, but you can find parking in the front and on the side. Inside, the decor is visually appealing and reflects cultural themes. The service at the table is friendly and welcoming. The food was decent, though on the bland side; this isn't a complaint, just a note that the flavors may cater to a more delicate Georgian palate. You'll likely appreciate having salt and pepper shakers at your table. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I look forward to coming back to try more dishes.
I spent a good amount of time in Georgia visiting a cousin working there and I think it’s the best cuisine in the world. This is the only restaurant I’ve been to in this country that replicates the flavors I had there. I think it’s not only the best Georgian restaurant in New Jersey, but the best restaurant I’ve been to in the state, period. Everything on the menu is impeccable, and it comes out quickly, too. Service is quick and helpful, and I had a nice conversation with the owner about Georgia. Book a table now
This restaurant have an amazing selection of delicious, DELICIOUS meals. The service is exceptional and very reasonable prices. They also sell these delicious compota drinks with fruits and great deserts! Absolutely amazing food! ?Kid-friendliness: I didn’t bring kids but I noticed several families with their kids at the table
This was definitely not the shawarma I was expecting. The Georgian salad was a small portion for the price, consisting mainly of large slices of cucumber and tomato with hardly any onions or herbs. I’m not likely to come back, except maybe for the khachapuri.
Consistently fresh with genuine flavors. They are accommodating to special requests and provide delightful alternatives. Thank you!
I really enjoyed the unique flavors of Georgian cuisine, especially the red cherry juice, the bread, and the large dumplings! Book a table now
I ordered the Adjaruli to try out this restaurant, and it was fantastic! I will definitely be ordering it again.
The bread bowl filled with eggs and cheese is absolutely exquisite.
