The service at this restaurant was terrible. The food was mediocre at best, and it was served cold despite being advertised with a sauce that was barely noticeable. The server never once checked on us, leaving our drinks and water empty. We were in a hurry to make it to a show across the street, but we ended up being last to leave after waiting for 2 hours. To make matters worse, the wait staff forgot two of our items and tried to give them to the next table. When we asked for desserts to go, they were brought to our room and melted before we could eat them. It was a frustrating experience overall, especially since the staff never checked on us and failed to address the issues with our food....
5-stars! Truly exceptional food. Fantastic at their specialty: oysters. You MUST try the smoked oysters if they have them!!! They are soo tasty (of course, only if you like the Smokey flavor). They offer oysters several different ways: fresh, smoked, and baked (baked is done three different ways). I also enjoyed my black cod with the lemon sauce and couscous, and baked sourdough loaf. Mmmmmm good. The apple crumble was okay. The service was impeccable. I really appreciate the ambience and that they serve wine out of the bottle rather than only bringing you a pre-poured glass.
Shuckers gave us our first meal in Seattle in a few years. It was an excellent choice. My swordfish was perfect with an excellent light sauce. My wife had the halibut that the market fish was in the fish and chips. The blueberry and blackberry dessert with acid ice was amazing. Only no other way to describe the meal, except with superlatives. A fun place with a great waiter.
We spent the week in Seattle for our anniversary and saved this spot for our last meal. Without a doubt, this was the best meal we had all week. We went to all the “best” seafood restaurants in town, but none compared to Shuckers. Drinks, oysters, food, and dessert all deserve five stars. Next time we come to town, this will be our first stop.

We did the 4 course prefix menu. There was a hair in my soup, our potatoes came out cold, the steak was poorly cooked and under seasoned. It was very unimpressive. My wife ordered 2 espresso martinis, I had an Arnold Palmer and a cappuccino and it added almost $100 to our bill just for those basic beverages. Overpriced for a poor experience.
The fresh fish options are consistently excellent (we tried 2 of them), and the oysters and appetizers are always fresh and delicious. My only regret is not saving room for dessert!
Always consistent and tasty. Tried a couple of their signature drinks; would order them again.
