I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was rushed, and despite there being available tables, I felt pressured to leave. It was as if they were waiting for someone important—maybe the President? The service was really poor. Customers should be allowed to enjoy their time with friends and family without feeling hurried. The food used to be better too. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this restaurant. Thanks for nothing.
I've been coming to Jase siam for years. And while their food is great, the customer service can be better. Waitresses drop off the food and then disappear, so if you need anything after your food is dropped off, you usually have to hunt them down lol. I still love coming though, just because the food and Thai tea are so good! You also get 10% off if you pat cash, which I think is pretty cool. So make sure to carry cash if you visit.
I called to place a pickup order around 7:20 PM, just before their 8 PM closing time. I arrived to collect my food at 7:55 PM, and everything seemed fine until we got home and opened the bags. The pad Thai looked like it was the very last portion they had—mostly vegetables and chicken, with hardly any noodles. I can confidently say that I won't be ordering from this place again right before closing time.
Very average the seafood spicy contains a lot of unnecessary ingredients like carrots, mushrooms, and big pieces of tomato. If you ever had torung or ocha in Hollywood and Korea town don't come here it will definitely not taste good enough. Orange chicken was red and tasteless with thin chicken, and beef chow mein was ok. The food is tasty. I had the papaya salad and it was good. It lacked spice, though, but I think that's because I did not specify. Overall, the food, prices, and service are good. I especially enjoy the setup with umbrellas on the roof. Cool place to chill and eat.
Amazing food, friendly service, cool atmosphere and very affordable. Loved all the dishes: Egg rolls Shrimp fried rice Shrimp pad Thai Yum woon sen Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.
Great veggie chow Mein and rice both white and brown. Highly recommend Vegetarian options: I got the veggie chow Mein which was really good
