Sierra Madre Taco Co. is a hidden gem located in the far corner of the shopping center. The menu offers outstanding food, especially given the affordable prices and speedy service. The owner frequently cooks the meals, serving fresh salsas daily and offering friendly conversation if you're up for it. It's the ideal spot to take a break from typical fast food at lunchtime! I end up visiting at least once a week.
A bit more attention and care to the food would be appreciated. I ordered a bean and bacon taco, but instead of onions, it had a large chunk of tough, inedible fat. The beans were just a thin smear, and the bacon was tough and jerky-like. At $3.50 per taco, it’s not worth it. No thanks.
We've been visiting Sierra Madre for years, and I've never been let down by the food or service. This time, I ordered the tostaditas, and my dad got a torta. Both dishes were excellent. The only thing I miss is the salsa bar, and I hope it returns someday.
My husband and I shared a chorizo breakfast burrito, and it was delicious! It reminded me of home—simple yet flavorful. The portion size was fantastic for the price. We’ll definitely be returning! Book a table now
