I absolutely love this authentic pasta shop—it's a fantastic spot! Given my shrimp allergy, they were kind enough to prepare a fresh portion of their dishes for me upon request, which sets them apart from a competitor just a few blocks away. Unfortunately, during the pandemic, they still aren't offering dine-in service, but I really hope they open up for it soon. I've ordered quite a bit from them, but it’s definitely more enjoyable to eat on-site while the food is piping hot. When I take it to-go, at least they ensure the soup is packed separately from the noodles, preventing it from getting watery. The brisket noodles were exceptional; they served a generous portion of meat along with some tender tendon. I recommend mixing it well to enjoy a bit of the flavorful oil at the bottom. Since it was my first visit, we decided to share a variety of dishes, and the fish cake was another highlight. It was so fresh and perfectly fried, making it easy to eat while still tasting amazing. Don't miss the roasted shrimp either – I don't know how they cooked it, but it was incredibly crispy, flaky, and thin-skinned. Normally, fried shrimp can feel heavy, but this was light and delightful! As always, check out the high-resolution images on my Instagram @Jliueats.

We got a congee, fried rice, hot milk tea, and the half-coffee-half-tea drink. The congee was pretty good, and the fried rice was decent. The drinks were both good, very Hong-Kong-like. The one downside was that the fried rice probably wasn't worth the $10 it cost.

I absolutely love this place and I'm so happy they've reopened! I recently tried their delicious tap lo mine, and it’s just as good as I remember! I also enjoyed a super refreshing iced lemon tea. Book a table now
