We stayed a week in Gulfport St Petersburg and ate daily for lunch and dinner. This place on the beach boulevard was by far the best of all. We went twice to our last two days in town. Your location is great, exactly where the action is in Gulfport. Our first time we stopped for lunch, we were immediately greeted by the waitress (which is also the co-owner with her husband who is the cook. We decided to eat outside on the terrace and had the shade of the tree plus a screen. The waitress explained the menu and they had great choices of pizza with dough made fresh, hamburger with house floor meat and house baked rolls to the specialties. Best bacon blue cheese burgers! EVER!!!! Pure, mouth-watering juicy treat! Homemade hamburger rolls and delicious crispy frits made with potato skins. Our son brought us to lunch yesterday and what a great experience!! Ting, one of the owners, was our server; she was welcoming and friendly, answered all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We also loved talking to her about the family, how the restaurant came to be.
Just been here this evening after a long walk from Pasadena. The building looked very cosy with the lights lit up and the server was very friendly. I was fully happy to go off her recommendations. I then had a lovely conversation with the owner Ting and it was a very welcoming experience. Although I only visit Florida a couple times a year, I'd definitely come back here.
I'll take the whole time out and the food is so fresh and satisfying. The burgers and meatballs are obviously homemade, and even things like side salads are so fresh and high quality. The Fire Burger (educated) cannot be beaten...definitely my go to item! Every time I break in, the staff is fantastic and super friendly, even if they are cheated. Very recommended.
