Been going to skips for awhile, but tonight was the worst! Never have I ever been told that the started burger is medium well! I have always gotten mine well done! When I received mine it was very pink and they seemed very irritated that I asked to have mine cooked again! As I observe him just cooking it pass the point of edible! Ended up leaving without the burger! Worst food I have had here since going! Then get told to come back between certain days and times to have better food!! Hire a better cook if you know there are issues! The food and drinks were decent and delivered quickly, but the service really needs a lot of improvement. After our table was cleared, we waited an extra 10-15 minutes for the bill without any acknowledgment from the staff. Eventually, we had to ask for it. There was only one other person at the bar, and the waitstaff were too busy chatting amongst themselves. Their attitude unfortunately made us feel like a burden for being there. I don’t plan on returning anytime soon. I've visited this place a few times, and each time the beer has tasted watered down. It’s probably better to choose something in a can or bottle instead.
Ashley is the best bartender in flushing, I walk in she knows my name and order. She deserves nothing but the the best… I will always come back to skips. Great bar and great
