A lady recommended Skorin Deli to me when I was buying a piece of Parmesan cheese at Aldi North Strathfield. I took her advice at dropped in one Sunday in case they were open. I was surprised to see they were and it was packed with Italians. That was a good sign! The shop was stacked with Italian delicacies and the aroma and smells reminded me of the deli in La Spezia Italy, even the paper they used to wrap the cold meats was the same. It has been years since I have felt the need to report a business on the basis of food hygiene but this deli truly adds a new dimension to poor quality food & customer service.Upon realising instore that the quality of my sliced to order cold meats looked dry & discoloured I mentioned to staff in a very polite manner that the quality of my cold meats looked a little dry I was shouted at with the reply "Do you think that I would sell you food that I wouldn't serve to my kids??" I was spoken to in such a rude & abrupt manner I should have just left. I was rather new to this shop, many prices stuck on shelves hand written in texta, could not figure out the price of a particular coffee, so I took the coffee from the shelf to confirm the price and asked about brand price, Very shocked by response 'you have eyes the prices are all on the shelves. Left this deli embarrased did not purchase anything, extremely poor customer service.
You could think you've entered a shop in a small Italian village, the aroma, the numerous selection from floor to ceiling with reasonable prices makes for the best deli around this area in Sydney.Great Panettone also.They make fresh panini to go and the procuitto and provolone is really delicious.

Great selection of cheese and meat plus other italian style groceries. I bought everything I needed for the top of my home made pizza and the quality of the cheese was amazing! We had mozzerella and provolone with salami. I will most definately be going back to check out the rest of the cheese!
This deli has has an extensive range of well priced small goods, tinned items, de Cecco pasta (and other brands including gluten free), passata, cheeses. The queue can be a little long sometimes, but highly recommended. Please note - this is not a restaurant.
This would have been my local deli but due to the disgusting arrogant attitude from the workers I was shocked. She snatched a deli package from my pile and said "that's my writing" when I never placed it there. Absolute joke!
A good place for various kinds of Italian groceries. Different kinds of cold meats, salted fish and cheeses etc. They sell many kinds of freshly baked breads too. May have to wait in a queue if you go during the busy time.
