I went here with my wife today. Duck sandwiches were great. Food was impressive. Chef Sam should be proud of the food but that is were it ends. The place overall was dirty and had bugs flying all over. Huge bee inside when trying to eat. Not a single table was clean when we ate. Dirty and full of crumbs with ketchup on them. The dingy old diner look is cozy but it was not clean and you can see how dirty the kitchen was from where we were seated. Although a different concept from White Birch its parent restaurant it should be treated with the same attention to detail. I am in the business for my career as well. I hope the concept gets moved to a new location or renovated to attract a more mai...

I went here because a friend of mine works here, but discovered that he not only hymns the food. it is masterful. I had the cheerful jungle, the Korean bbq with homemade cheeky and scallion aioli. what a good sandwich! I am upset that I did not order 3 for me, not because of the size of the portion, but because I filled 2 more in my gullet. if the French dip announced his name donor country and returned to seoul, it would be this sandwich. the Korean dip. even the homemade brot was a conscious and wonderful choice: enough tooth to keep up to the juiced and sosse, but not so much that they had to fight and forced to squeeze out the fillings from the sandwich. in any case I want to try my way...

today with my mother, very glad that the sign caught my eye when we drove past! it is a small place and it was quite cool today, but the staff was warm and friendly enough to create it. we loved our slamwiches! she had a taylor, egg and cheese, and I tried the pork. were generous and the homemade roll was delicious, I loved the sprinkle of sea salt on the top. my pork was so moist and tender, and the in-laws returned so crispy definitiw to try the Korean bbq and duck jam!

great sandwiches! this place does not look like a tiny hole in the wall from outside, but eating is unique and trendy. I ordered a Korean bbq brisket sanwich with kimchi and leek mayo. highly recommended! Book a table now

A wonderful cafe set in an old diner in downtown Madison. The staff are courteous and friendly. The extensive menu is casual yet innovative, using locally sourced ingredients. Not fancy but really good.
