While I was staying in Pasadena for a couple days my friend and I decided to go grab some late dinner on Friday night. We decided on Slater's 50/50 because...bacon. we arrived at 9:55 and were immediately told that the kitchen closes at 10. We were sad that we'd have to locate another restaurant when we were told that, if we could order in 5 minutes, we'd be fine. We were up to the challenge! The only reason one might need more time would be because there are a lot of great sounding items featured. But picking out a couple of burgers was no problem. Four minutes later our order was in. Despite the last minute order, our food came out looking delicious. Both burgers were cooked to perfection...
I had the 2/3 lb. Buffalo bacon burger, and it was outstanding. The meat was juicy and cooked to perfection at medium rare. The thick-cut bacon was cooked just right, remaining pliable. The combination of those flavors with the melted cheese was incredible. I highly recommend Slater's 50/50 and will definitely return soon. The prices are very reasonable too; they have a $12.49 lunch special that includes a burger, fries, and a soft drink.
The service was exceptional. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the server recommended the tacos, which turned out to be a great choice. I preferred the fried tacos over the grilled ones. The atmosphere was lovely and really encouraged you to linger longer. The photo I took isn’t the best and doesn’t capture anything particularly special, but the food was definitely delicious.
I dine at this restaurant roughly every three weeks due to my work schedule, and I've never had a disappointing meal or experience. I typically order the Burger of the Month or the classic 50/50 burger with some extra toppings. I also enjoy the deconstructed guacamole. It's always a good time at a great spot!

We celebrated a graduation at this restaurant, and we couldn't have chosen a better spot. The food was excellent, and our waitress was incredibly impressive! She truly did a fantastic job. We will definitely return whenever we're in the area! Two thumbs up from our group!
Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The waitresses were fun and patient and all of the friends that came with me enjoyed themselves! This is a great place!
We had a fantastic evening here watching Sunday night football. We enjoyed some great beers on tap, and they had nearly 50 options, which is amazing!
