I've been a fan of Gio's pizza for many years, going back to his time at Mama Santina. When he opened his new restaurant, Slice of Bayshore, I followed him there because he is a fantastic businessman, always friendly, and his food is amazing. Unfortunately, for reasons I don't quite understand, his partners made the unfortunate decision to let Gio go. He was the driving force behind The Slice, and I have no doubt he will do well in his next endeavor. In the meantime, I will be taking my business elsewhere until Gio returns. I wish The Slice all the best, but without Gio's vision and support for his staff, they might face some challenges. - Terry Rally
I’ve visited this restaurant several times due to its convenient location near my office, but I won’t be returning. Their pizza is quite disappointing, and I find their prices to be unjustifiable. On two occasions, I was charged different prices for the same item. Most recently, they charged me $2.50 for a can of Arizona iced tea, which is ridiculous considering it usually costs just 99 cents elsewhere, and some places might even give you your penny back. When I mentioned that the price seemed excessive, especially since it’s only 99 cents everywhere else, the employee replied, “But it’s a big can—it’s 23 ounces.” I really can’t recommend this place!
The ingredients are fresh, and there's a genuine commitment to quality; every dish is prepared to order, in contrast to the standard assembly line method often seen in many Italian restaurants. This place is truly exceptional, and I only regret not discovering it sooner. Don't hesitate—visit Slice for an unforgettable dining experience. Believe me, this is far from your average local pizza spot (though those can be wonderful as well)!
The atmosphere of the restaurant creates a genuinely enjoyable dining experience. It's spotless, and even the restroom is impeccably clean! I could rave about this place for hours, but as Doug wisely noted, you should absolutely make a trip to Slice of Bay Shore without hesitation! I drove 41 miles from Lower Manhattan to 298 W Main St in Bay Shore, and I would happily make that drive again week after week!

Absolutely delicious! I was genuinely impressed by everything on the chef's menu—just wow! My favorite dish was the bacon-wrapped scallops, but the steak with latkes was a very close second. I couldn't stop talking about the pumpkin pie cheesecake; it was simply amazing! I'm already looking forward to returning to try some of their fantastic pizzas and the new items on the rotating chef's menu.
I was in search of a unique and budget-friendly option for Valentine's Day when I discovered this restaurant on Facebook. The pizza was absolutely amazing! It was cooked perfectly, topped generously with pepperoni, and featured a lovely heart shape. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had eight slices! The best part is that they offer this heart-shaped pizza all year long! So delicious!
I discovered this amazing restaurant for dinner on Sunday, and I had an outstanding chicken dish! The portions are quite generous, and the quality and flavors are exceptional. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend this place. The staff is also very friendly!
WOW!!!!! Unfortunately, poor management and inexperienced ownership have caused Slice of Bayshore to decline more quickly than I anticipated. The Bayshore community has lost a wonderful restaurant. I wish Mike all the best!!!! Terry Rally

I've ordered pizza from this place multiple times, and I have to say, it never gets better. The crust is too doughy and falls apart too easily. Plus, the sauce tastes quite sour. What kind of pizza is this? I live in New York!
The food here is incredible! It features truly authentic Italian cuisine that really stands out in terms of quality!
