Smooy - Table reservation

My wife and I have been to Smooy many times. Always perfect, until today. It was pouring with rain and the chairs and tables were sopping wet.... except for one table which was bone dry because of it’s location. The only member of staff was sitting there (English) with two of her friends. There were no customers. The friends had not bought anything from Smooy, they were just sitting there. After we had bought our (excellent) yoghurts, the member of staff and her friends simply watched while we attempted to dry our chairs and table using our own Kleenex tissues.... no offer of help, no offer to give up their dry chairs and table. I have never been a great fan of gelato style ice cream and am constantly on the hunt for soft serve, so was thrilled to discover that Smooy not only offers delicious frozen yoghurt, but also soft serve in chocolate and vanilla. As if that wasn’t temptation enough, there are a multitude of toppings to try, which I am working my way through. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, and this place offers great value for money. On weekends it gets extremely busy so get there early.

Popped in for an ice cream while walking past. The frozen yoghurt was really good. They have so many toppings to choose from unfortunately they were labelled in Spanish only. I asked what a couple were but wasn’t given much help from the English server so stuck with the toppings I could identify. They were lovely.

Permanently closed, they sold it 2 weeks ago so don’t bother making the trip. Doesn’t look like it because all the stuff tables, chairs etc inside and visible) but asked the neighbours : they need to update this on google aswell.

Been here quite a few times this summer and the word is DELICIOUS. Place clean and staff very nice.
