"It’s ok. For the price, a decent mattress would be nice. Furniture needs updating/ cleaning. Kitchen was well stocked if intended on cooking most meals. No one at the front desk in the mornings is strange. Glad we did a lot of research before we came. Location is very close and was the best feature for new skiing families like us."

Honestly, this hotel could use some upgrades, but if they did that, we 'd be paying double, so it 's fine with me. We booked a 1 bedroom condo for 4 nights over Spring Break. With taxes and all, I think we were a little over $400 per night. Yea...that 's getting up there in price, but for comparison sake, The Blake, which is a very nice resort was asking $800 per night before tax for a room with two beds in it. Just a standard 2 queen room. So, you get what you pay for, right? Well honestly I think you get much better than anticipated. I 've stayed at many mountain properties and have been lucky enough to stay at a ski in and out property only a few times. This place is the closest I 've eve...

Stayed in SnakeDance the week of 02/12 02/19/22, in a two bedroom, two bathroom unit. The location of the hotel is excellent. Everything else is old and tired. As soon as we walked into our unit we saw torn worn out carpeting patched with duct tape. The unit was very hot and we could not control the temperature. The only way to cool down was to open the patio door or bedroom windows. We would alternate between freezing or cooking. The dishwasher would not close correctly and would not work. We had 4 adults staying in the unit. The master bedroom was very nice and had an attached bathroom but no door. The second bedroom was small and did not have an attached bathroom. That bathroom was a comm...

My family stayed at Snakedance Condominiums for 6 days over Christmas. All in, the cost was over $5K. Our condo was decent sized with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and slope side, so I expected to pay a premium, but for more than $800 a night, I expect a nice place. This was not that. We had broken furniture, only two of four burners on the stove worked, the sofa had am 8 inch change in elevation from the edges to the center and the TV was the size of a postage stamp. Carpet was dirty and frayed, the whole place was shabby and not maintained. On top of that, the manager, Jennifer, was clearly having some personal issues and felt it was appropriate to take it out on us. She was rude and host...

The Snakedance Condominiums is at a great location, steps from Lift 1. The plaza where it resides contains everything you need for apres ski, food shopping, and restaurant meals. The rooms contain two or more bedrooms, a full kitchen, fireplace; perfect for a family or a few friends. The only downside is the balcony is 1 ft by 5 ft. Our room was convenient and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here when skiing at Taos.
