Stop my favorite place for a meal on the drive between Houston and Dallas. This place is the real deal, the quintessential American café/dinner. Food and service are great. They treat you beautifully whether you are a local or just go through. My favourite menus are the catfish and chicken fajita salad. Get some cake to go: it is made with love by the mysterious Cake Lady!
Service is the best in town, I am a very picky eater and I am never disappointed. Management is amazing, my son is as picky as I am and they never had a problem with us to order something that wasn't even on the menu, but now it was set on the menu. Buffalo chicken fries and buffalo pack are the best. Desserts are delicious.
Excellent menu items, great portion/prices, courteous staff and food was great! We will definitely spread the word and be back. Thank you for a great experience before we return to Spring, Tx after evacuation from Spring, Tx because of Hurricane Harvey. Very appreciated.
Everything is awesome! From the chicken salad plate to the fried fish. It's a great change of pace from the other local places. Only negative is that this little gem is a bit on the small side, you must be on the ball during the lunch rush to get a seat.
