Epic failure! I strongly recommend checking your food before placing a takeout order. On July 3, 2022, I ordered a pound of brisket along with some sides. When I picked it up, it looked more like five slices of brisket. I brought this to the attention of the takeout staff, and they took it back to the kitchen. Although they added a bit more, it still didn't look like a full pound. When I got home, I weighed it and found it to be only 9.1 ounces. The excuses provided were ridiculous. They did offer a $10 refund on the original order, but it was still disappointing. Several employees failed to do their jobs, and even after I pointed out the issue, they still couldn't get it right.
I had a great dining experience at Sonny's today. I was welcomed with a friendly smile and promptly seated. My server, Megan, was fantastic! She took the time to explain the lunch specials and quickly brought me my drink. The food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. I ordered the baby ribs, potato salad, and a drink. The portion sizes were just right, and the ribs were some of the best I've had in years. Even though they offer large sauces, the ribs didn’t need any. The restaurant itself was very clean, well-lit, and comfortable. You definitely need to check out Sonny’s; their BBQ is a must-try!
We had an enjoyable experience at this restaurant, thanks to the welcoming staff, especially Ms. Alice, who guided the team. Our server, Tiffany, truly went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of and showed genuine concern for our satisfaction with the food. She took the time to check in on us and actually listened to our feedback. Out of all the servers we have encountered at Sonny's, Tiffany stands out as the best. Ms. Alice deserves high praise for her leadership in managing her team, and Tiffany perfectly embodies the customer service vision established by both Sonny's and Ms. Alice.
This is the best barbecue I have ever tasted! I was initially hesitant to try this barbecue restaurant, as I've experienced many barbecue spots in Texas, like Sonny's BBQ, which feels more like fast food. However, this place is nothing like that; it's gourmet barbecue! I opted for the all-you-can-eat ribs, and everything was absolutely delicious. The cornbread was so good that it tasted like cake—I couldn't resist having it for dessert after my meal.

Waitress was rude. My 90 year old mom is hard of hearing. The waitress clearly dismissed what my mom was saying and just walked away several times.However, she was chatty Kathy with her friends that were sitting behind us. If she'd stop for 2 seconds so I could explain. She just huffed off. People need to deal with the elderly better.Food was ok. But not super.
We visited for dinner on Monday night with a group of five. We ordered three appetizers, drinks, each of us chose a main course, and we shared a dessert. The food was fresh, served quickly, and delicious! Our drinks arrived first, followed by the appetizers, which we appreciated. Our waiter was very pleasant, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there!
It's been years since I've had Sonny's, so I decided to drop by. I ordered the Sonny's Sampler, which came with beans and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. The rib meat fell right off the bone, and the chicken was just as tender. A little extra spicy BBQ sauce made it perfect!
We were a group of and had a wonderful experience. Chris was our waiter and he was attentive and friendly. Alice, the hostess, was great and checked in with us often to make sure all was good. The food was delicious and came out hot. Overall I would recommend this Sonny’s location.

We got our food to go. The food was horrible. The ribs were dry. The salad smelled fishy, and the two orders of fries were old and burnt/new and not cooked all the way. The woman at the window was unfriendly and there was one car in the parking lot. Not going back.
