I popped in here for a coffee and food on the way to work. The space is large, lots of tables and I like the dim atmosphere and styling. The ladies serving were incredibly bubbly and friendly for the early morning so that was great. I got a chai latte, they do the brewed type. I also ordered a ham and cheese croissant which was so beautifully presented, seeds on top. They offered to heat, but as I was in a rush I took it and heated later - it was incredibly good! Ever walk pass a bakery and smell whats going on? This place is filled with fresh bread smell and they serve food from their own bakery!
Delicious artisan bread baked fresh daily (Next door) and serving with healthy menu items to please all.
My favourite was the "Rotisserie of the day" which was roasted chicken!Thick cut maple bacon, Honey glaze ham! Omg christmas came here early! The chilli fried egg was good and healthy!
The cafe is inside a big warehouse and decked out nicely, love this place but shame its far away from me ....

If I could rate less, I would. I work around the corner from this cafe. Enough is enough, I usually buy a coffee a day from this place. Get a breakfast a few time a few hours a week. 4 times in a row (so is the patient I am) I order my toast. 4 times in a row you have filled up my order. Last 2 times I opened the problem and he was still stuffed. Beautiful people work there in the middle, but for the price I would recommend to stay around the corner or Bourke Street Bakery. You can get a park. Spend that you will earn hard elsewhere.
Sonoma Cafe is one of the most beautiful bakeries in Alexandria. Your sockets in Alexandria is probably your headquarters, in which pastries, bread and croissants are freshly baked. I tried her signature of Brownie and Iceled Latte. Oh man! Her brownie (with nuts) tasted smoothly and rich. Her ice latte was thick and milky. A good time to spend my afternoon with the brownies and croissants while waiting for the rain to stop.

Went there for coffee and breakfast. Were not disappointed, friendly staff, good food, good coffee. The only improvement I would suggest is the quality of coffee beans. Coffee was a bit bitter.

Not only are their sourdough breads damn good, Sonoma do brunch really well too.
