I frequently order from here. My wife enjoyed her bolognese, but the eggplant roll I tried had a rancid taste, which I suspected was due to the ricotta. I called to report the issue, and they were very polite and promptly sent me a slice of eggplant. I was pleased with that, as it was delicious, just as I had hoped. I'm willing to consider the initial problem a one-time occurrence, and their willingness to replace it definitely improved my overall experience.
I had a disappointing experience tonight. My food was delivered to the wrong address, and I didn't receive the text notification I had requested. After waiting 45 minutes, my neighbor knocked on my door with my dinner, which had been left at their house. Unfortunately, by the time I got it, the food was cold and unappetizing. To make matters worse, there was no bread or cheese included.
Drove 45 minutes ro try the famous upside down. First bite is certainly different. Most tend to be a sweet sauce, this one is more in the tangy side. Maybe if u had a sugary drink the contrast would be better, aa the taste too strong. Dough could have more flavor or extra cheese. Definitely taste in the upside down world, friendly staff.
My wonderful partner drove all the way from Astoria, Queens, to bring me a Drunken Grandma pizza (the best pizza ever). My 20-year-old son came home feeling off after a fight with friends or some girl trouble—who knows? But after having the Drunken Grandma, he was all better! We ordered takeout from this restaurant one night, and while it was decent, it didn't quite meet my expectations for a New York-style pizza. The crust was a bit too thick for my liking, and the sauce had a bit of a kick. There are definitely better pizza options in the city just a few miles away.
Order the 6ft Italian hero and that was delicious. Everyone at the party enjoyed and complimented on the amount of meat. Definitely using the again for next party! Also very easy to order, just required 24 hour notice and great price. I should also try other items on the menu!
The person who managed this restaurant in July 2023 created a terrible sauce and a chicken roll that had a musty, old smell. I hope the new management improves the quality, and I wish them the best of luck.
I was quite disappointed with the chicken sandwich. It didn't come on a toasted hero as I had requested, and the chicken itself was completely lacking in flavor. Book a table now
