We have dined in at this restaurant several times and it has always been good. However, we were very disappointed with our takeout order tonight. My husband was excited for a Chinese omelette, but it was grey in color and had a rubbery texture. The sweet and sour chicken and beef also had a rubbery consistency, and the fried rice was dry and tasted stale. If this is the quality of the food now, we will not be returning. We are unsure what has happened to the cooking at the restaurant.
Free parking in front of the restaurant . Not very large with perhaps 50 seats The lady boss helps to serve . The waitperson is a young non Chinese who does not speak or understand Chinese . Serving quick lunch menu . Roast duck and roast pork we had were nowhere up to standard This place used to be serving quite delicious Chinese food but has run down big time Never again

A trip to the South Ocean Chinese Restaurant for work lunch was a really unusual thing for us to do, since we usually ventured to either G-Fun, Kitchen Inn
This is my favorite restaurant, located close to my home. The staff is friendly and the parking is easy and inexpensive. The Chinese food is delicious.
My friend and I have been going to the restaurant for a while. Staff are always nice and the food is good. Lunch special is the best!
