I usually find something missing when ordering skillets, but the Chicken Skillet I tried (without bacon) arrived piping hot, just as I like it. The steam rising from the skillet and the soft biscuit reminded me of nostalgic Sunday mornings from my childhood. The potatoes and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the chicken was incredibly juicy—definitely not dry!
Our server, whose name I believe was Alex or Stephanie (my memory can be a bit hazy), was fantastic. I had requested no bacon, and even though it was mistakenly added, she thoughtfully informed me before serving it. I had brunch with a friend and we ended up staying for three hours to catch up. It was a Friday, and the restaurant was at half capacity, so they didn’t mind us lingering. Our waitress was incredibly sweet, stopping by to check on us more than 20 times to see if we needed refills on coffee creamers and water. She greeted us with a genuine smile every time! (I wish I could remember her name.) Thank you, Miss Tall Smile!
I’d like to update my review. My son, daughter-in-law, and I visited today for their first time, while I've been here several times before. Unfortunately, today was my first disappointing experience. I ordered the vegetable skillet, and to my dismay, there was cardboard under my eggs. How could the cook have missed that?
