It was my sister in law's birthday, we booked a table for eight, each couple went up and ordered, we all booked all at the same time, the first meal came out for my brother, he was last to order in our group, but received his meal first, twenty minutes later, a further six meals came out, my wife ordered the Thai Beef Salad, and I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, both meals were fairly ordinary, the chicken was dry and crumbs were burned and the salad was made with iceberg lettuce, had no flavour, Thai beef Salad it wasn't. When we were all finished, the one remaining meal a Beef Burger came out, the waitress put it down then took it and gave it to the table behind us, that table of four came...
I went to the Club on two occasions - one a family function after a funeral which was catered in a function room and the next night just for dinner to relax. The staff were very friendly and courteous on both occasions. The meals were a good size and the barramundi was cooked perfectly. Roast of the day was tasty. Plenty of people there but not overly noisy. Convenient location to where we were staying.
We were impressed by the size of our meals here. Initially we were going to have dessert but we were so full after the large nice mains that we didn't need to! However those in our group that got the seniors roast special ordered an extra bowl of chips after finishing their meal because it was small. The food was nice & speed of service was satisfactory.
Passing through Mackay.Just wanted a light meal so ordered from menu entrée size salt and pepper calamari with polenta,& capers on a bed of rocket and fried capers. Calamari was good but no polenta and no rocket (just small mix of lettuce leaves)Capers were cold and obviously not fried as advertised.....So not very filling as no carbohydrates.

Love the atmosphere of this newly renovated club - The menu has lots to choose from and the meals are presented like a Restaurant - Friendly staff - Even has a kid's club for parents who want to relax - highly recommend to everyone.
The menu choice offered fair variety. Staff were friendly and helpful to us out of towners. Overall a good place for a reasonable meal. well priced
The meals where large portions. Good value and also catered for all types of diets. The service was excellent. A great atmosphere to dine.
