We ordered the bento box with salted Mackerel, oroshi katsu, and another pork entree. The portion size was very large for the price. Not to mention the array of sides they added. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back. Another plus is I felt full, satiated, and the food wasn't overly heavy. Staff is friendly, and the dining area is simple but clean. The front door was a bit broken so it kept bringing in a cold draft. Other than that a great experience.
I tried Sozai Benzai restaurant for the first time tonight for dinner it was pretty good. It's a small restaurant where you can dine in or takeout, the service was fine. The Gyu Don was pretty good however, it needed more flavor so add a bit of soy sauce and siracha and then you're good to go. Spicy Stamina Ramen was pretty good but it's really not spicy, maybe I have a higher tolerance level for spice. Overall, a nice place to eat at for a quicker and affordable Japanese meal.
We had the Taiwan-Style Tonkotsu and the Miso Ramen. Both were fantastic. Definitely reccommend this spot for great authentic quaint eating. Dont let the strip mall look fool you! Will be back next time I'm in town!
One of the best ramen spots in Chicagoland. I prefer the Spicy Stamina Ramen, which has a lot of veggies and some ground beef in it. It warms the soul and just replenishes you so well. Book a table now
I ordered some meals last month and this month.Ginger pork, Hijiki, Wakasagi Namban and Katus Don were too salty. It wasn't last year.Hope owner check the taste sometimes.
One of the best ramen spots in NW suburbs. Food tasted very fresh and authentic. Awesome spot that's not overcrowded plus friendly and attentive staff. A+.Food: 5/5

Highly recommended. A small mom and pop shop near mitsuwai supermarket which is crazy packed. Great price and selection. Feels like I'm back in Japan. Book a table now
The food was just alright. I went with my friend who is from Japan she didn't really like it. The service was slow to bring food deserts out.
