Sozo sushi is a my favorite when I'm in Pleasanton!! The ladies here serving are very friendly, but the lady charging does lack acknowledgement towards the customers. Order: 1. Seafood pho : a must if you're under the weather. Very warm and fresh. Comes with shrimp, crab legs, scallops, broccoli, onion, carrots and pho !! I would def add lime to add flavor if you get it : Mexican style 9/10 2.lion king: very delicious although sometimes it comes with too much sauce on top. You can ask for less if you don't want too much! They are a good size although sometimes they are not properly made and fall apart. 9/10 3. Gyoza: pork filled. These are 8/10
We had a wonderfully peaceful dining experience at this restaurant located in a strip mall. The staff was incredibly attentive. Since it was our first visit, we’re eager to return and explore more items on the menu. The selection of special rolls is impressively extensive. We ordered shrimp and vegetable tempura, and the batter was so light that it kept the vegetables nice and crunchy. The Cadillac roll was enjoyable, but we’ll skip the Marilyn Monroll on our next visit, as the scallop’s creaminess was a bit too overpowering for the roll.
What a fantastic restaurant with wonderful people! My family has been dining here for years, and we plan to keep coming back! The customer service is friendly, the food is exceptional, and there's a great variety on the menu. The atmosphere is clean, calm, and relaxing.
Sozo is the best! Love dining in, love the new decor. It's our go to place! The sashimi was great, the spicy scallop hand roll was perfect and the dragon roll was so good we got another one! I already want to go back!

I've been coming to Sozo Sushi for years! This restaurant is hands down the best sushi spot in town. I was recommend this place to my friends and family looking for a good sushi restaurant.
We had a Korean bibimbap style of sushi bowl. It's really good. The raw fish is very fresh, the salad is very crunchy and the rice you mix in is sushi style rice and is very tasty.
My new go to sushi spot. Fresh quality pieces and beautiful presentation. Owner is amazing and checked on us frequently. Will be back.
