Today , in marked contrast , was likely the worst service I've experienced anywhere in at least twenty years . The restaurant was not crowded and there were several waiters . Inexplicably, the table next to us remained laden with dirty dishes. When our food eventually arrived , forty five minutes after placing our order , I asked the waiter to remove the unappetizing array that still adorned the next table . 4.5 stars. I've been to Spice of America a couple of times pre-pandemic and also picked up a MealPal lunch here recently. This restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Service is friendly and attentive. I absolutely love the food here. Everything I tried were so delicious. The presentation is on point. This place is hard to spot, but what a gem!!! The food is fantastic, the host is so nice and kind. About what we had: charred cauliflower in a curry sauce and two lamb dishes (Himalayan and koorma), everything was so saucy and creamy and wonderfully spiced. Food came out quick, too. Can’t say enough good things!Everyone please come eat here!!!
I've ordered twice from here and both times were good! I don't live too close (about 30min away) and by the time I get home the naan and curries are still warm! I've tried the butter and garlic naan, garlic is my fav. The first time I tried butter curry and this time a seafood coconut curry, both are delicious!

'I think I have a new favorite Indian restaurant ' Me 'There are no Indian restaurants after this one ' My partner. Food here was unlike any Indian cuisine I 've tasted. All the regular dishes but prepared in a way that can only be described as superlative. They are the Michelangelo of flavor.
I can never believe that there aren’t more people here Most past reviews note how good the food is and they are right! A great selection and I imagine they do a great take out business but the restaurant itself is pleasant and quiet. 5 Star food and Five Star value.
Good good. Good service and decent ambiance. Ordered the samosa sandwich and it was very cheesy and wholesome. Came with a side of Peri Peri like seasoned fries. Would definitely go back for their sandwich. Would love to try other dishes as well.
Absolutely stunningly delicious food. The quality is not matched by the atmosphere, but that's a quibble. There were 3 other tables, and everyone was exclaiming about how delicious everything was.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, with a wide variety of menu items beyond the typical curries. The momos were the best I have ever had.
Literally my favorite Indian place in SF. Get the platter. I came here 3 times in a week once, no shame- no regrets.
