I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. I ordered biryani which was not fresh, had a bad smell, and tasted terrible. I could barely eat a few spoonfuls. It was a shame. The old lady who served me asked if I wanted a plate and spoon, which I found nonsensical and stupid. She also overcharged me and when I asked for details, she rudely told me it was tax. Someone should educate this ill-mannered lady on providing detailed bills to customers. She was arrogant and rude, wearing black gloves while the cooks, who were not wearing gloves, prepared the food with dirty hands. I will never return to this restaurant. I went to the store today and was very impressed. The store manager, Mr. Pandya, was extremely polite, friendly, patient, and a good listener. He even gave me a thorough tour of the store, showing me everything in each aisle. This Indian grocery store is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, with a great selection of items that I need. The produce is fresh, the frozen section is well-stocked, and the store is clean. I highly recommend this store and will be visiting frequently instead of driving long distances or ordering online for my essentials.
I enjoy their food every single time I go, I am never disappointed. They give me samples for dishes I have never had. The food is so flavorful and the service is nice. I've been going since Febuary 2017, and kind of stumbled upon it. Finding good ethnic vegan meals on Staten Island is hard, so I was very happy to find something ETHNIC and VEGAN FRIENDLY. I happen to still eat fish, so I tried their King fish curry and oh my goodness! delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! and affordable!
