Whilst on holiday visiting friends we tried a number of different coffee shops (as you do) in the Speyer area. When we found this place we came back every day confident in getting a better than good cup of coffee. Behind C&As, in the Kornmarkt it isn't obvious on the main walk to Speyer's Kaiserdom (another must see if you like medieval cathedrals) so you get that frisson of having 'found' an unlooked for gem.Sit inside or out, the service and coffee were of a consistently high standard - the nicest coffee I've had in Germany. As is not unusual, the owners speak excellent English and smiled tolerantly at our terrible mangling of German. Will go back if/when we visit Speyer again.
Here we are: the best coffee in Speyer. They roast their coffee on site and will gladly explain all there is to know about where the coffee is from and which roast is used for the different sorts of roasted coffee on sale. They also...sell awfully good cake and other home-made sweets. They offer caffeine-free coffee, support lactose-free milk as well as soy milk. All in all a pleasant and calm atmosphere and off-beat from the bustling pedestrian zone. As the coffee isn’t roasted at high temperatures it is much more easy on the stomach and lighter than the yuck you get in any of the cafés along the main pedestrian zone. Well worth the minute walk away from the main road.

we came here for checking out the newest coffee shop in town. they roast themselves which made the coffee experience itself great. the problem is about the atmosphere. no music, no vibe, not the contemporary type of interior you expect nowadays. we came for drinking...inside and did regret for not taking it out.

I guess that this is one of the best places in Speyer for a coffee, cake and/or something to eat. The coffee house is located in central Speyer and also has a nice outdoor seating area. Prices are average. Service is good and friendly. Recommendable...!
