My wife and I were quite disappointed with our experience. I ordered a sausage and cheese omelette with potatoes and a biscuit with gravy, while my wife had an egg white omelette with bacon, potatoes, and a biscuit. My omelette and potatoes arrived nearly five minutes before hers, and my biscuit with gravy came out about three minutes after her omelette. The potatoes on my plate were presented with the burnt side facing up, and some were so overcooked that I couldn’t eat them—I even took a photo to show the difference. The restaurant wasn’t very busy when we arrived, but there was a party of about 12 to 14 people already seated and waiting for their food, which may explain why our meals came...
This place is a local regular spot for comfort food. Good bang for buck. Used to be Ziggies. Basically the same just rebranded. There is literally something for everyone to eat here. Even your pickiest eater will find something to eat here. Breakfast for dinner anyone? Don’t mind if I do… also don’t forget the pie!!! Grab a slice or take a whole one!! There is also room for groups too so don’t be afraid to bring your whole crew. It can get really busy especially morning times during the weekend. If you get up early on Sunday you can beat the church crowd!!! The pancakes are to die for. The fluffiest, tastiest, best boys ever.
This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem! We were passing through the area and looked on Google for a good place to eat. Everything we tried was delicious, from the complimentary soup to our fried zucchini appetizer, which was surprisingly a large portion! I ordered the fried chicken, while my friend opted for the chicken fried steak, and both dishes were outstanding. The service was excellent too! We will definitely return when we’re back in the area!

Springfield Family Restaurant is an excellent spot for breakfast. The menu features all the classic favorites along with a variety of unique options to explore. Every dish was served hot, fresh, and delicious. The staff were friendly, efficient, and eager to assist. After dining here, it’s clear why they have been a beloved establishment for more than 30 years.
The only thing that I get is the very berry waffle. Get cream cheese on the side. You don't need any butter or syrup. Excellent, good service, good atmosphere. Good price.
My wife and I wanted 2 different items from the menu. The restaurant was out of both. Disappointing...
