Service was in our case efficient, but just as uninterested as the other contributors describe. The pizzas were quite OK really and I can appreciate that we could order a small portion for our daughter. However, my scampi salad, one of the most pricey dishes on the menu was below standards: lettuce gone wilted, dried out cucumber and tomato slices. I felt I got one of the left-overs from the previous shift. I only send back a plate once every 5 years or so, but I really didn´t see the point of eating a salad gone bad. We live in Weinheim and visit the Stadtschaenke regularly. The Pizza is freshly baked in a wood fired oven and definitely the best you can get in Weinheim. I haven 't tried any of the other pricey italian things on the menu yet, I have to admit. The service is friendly and helpful and they are kids frindly, too. When we went there last time, we were cheered and helped with our pram, no problem at all. Service is typically fast and professional. Ate here one night. The restaurant was fairly busy, the food Italian. Pizza and pasta. Had the tomato salad to start which was pretty good, large portion. Tom a while for the black pepper, oil and balsamic vinegar to arrive though. I followed this with the lasagne which was slightly burnt on top and nothing special. The food is reasonably priced. The above plus a beer cost me just over 18 EUR.
I love the Pizza at stadtschenke. The Pizza is the best in town and also the Ambiente inside is nice. But I hate the service from the waiters. Always slow and superciliousnes which is not helpfull for a restaurant! Neverless I will not come very often due to this Topic! I prefere frendly service!

slow service but good pizza's and you can sit outside if you want to. The waiters however are hard to get a hold of. However the price are good.
Pizza was excellent. The Capri salad was also very good. Service was ok... Slow and somewhat forgetful.
