An older lady with died red hair wouldn’t serve my sister food or even water in the store. They kicked her out and someone brought water to her outside. At LEAST. The reason being was that she was being funny with her guy friend by taking his sandwich and pretending like he wasn’t gonna get it. The guy friend was playing along and let the lady know that it is okay as they are friends being funny. The red hair lady told the friend “she didn’t listen to my orders and now you’re sticking up for her”. The lady didn’t care and kicked her out and didn’t serve her. My sister is in middle school, and other children she didn’t know in the store even came up to her to apologize for the ladies behavior...
This establishment is a typical café offering coffee, muffins, and similar items. The service is generally prompt. However, my main complaint is that the interior is quite loud. The music is consistently too loud, and while they will turn it down if asked, it seems they don't consider lowering it themselves. This makes conversation difficult. Furthermore, the staff behind the counter tend to be very loud, often shouting and occasionally raising their voices. This can be quite distracting and annoying. If you're looking for a peaceful experience, this isn't the place for you. Thankfully, if the weather is nice, you can enjoy sitting on their terrace, which is much more pleasant.
This Starbucks is conveniently situated just across the street from the Metra train station in Mount Prospect. The service is consistently excellent, even during peak hours. The staff members are friendly and welcoming. On my last visit, they unfortunately had run out of a flavor shot I wanted, but they graciously created a specialty coffee blend for me at no extra cost. They even took a moment to check the balances on my two Starbucks gift cards. Inside, there are plenty of tables, and during the summer, they set up a small outdoor seating area.
The restaurant is situated in a bustling area, which can make parking a bit challenging. However, it's easy to reach since it's a popular spot with plenty of foot traffic. There's also a great nearby restaurant, making it a nice place to enjoy coffee after a meal. While the place tends to be busy, the drinks are served exactly as ordered, and I find the coffee to be quite delicious.

I love Dieucks! Every time I visit, I always order the kids' temperature hot chocolate, and it never fails to taste delicious. My sister usually gets coffee, and she absolutely loves it too.

There was a line but it was moving. My son insisted on stopping for him to get coffee there.
