My family and I went to have a fun day out and decided to try a new place to eat. After reading the menu at Steve's BBQ we all voted to give it a try, and I was so happy that we did! The atmosphere was nice and the place was very clean. It was nice to be able to navigate with ease, and not having to do great heroic feats to get to our table. From start to finish, Josh took excellent care of us and exceeded all our expectations. He assisted not only with the food—dinner and a delightful charcuterie board for the cocktail hour—but also with details we hadn’t considered, such as plates, utensils, linens, keeping the food warm, and what to do with the leftovers. He even helped set up other aspects of the wedding that were beyond his responsibilities!

The food was absolutely delicious, and it was evident that everything was made fresh from scratch. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which had an incredible airy crunch, as well as loaded potatoes that were simply amazing. We also enjoyed mozzarella sticks topped with Parmesan, a BBQ pulled pork sandwich served with mashed potatoes and coleslaw, and the fish and chips. To conclude our meal, we indulged in homemade peach cobbler with ice cream, which was a perfect ending. The service was outstanding—there was nothing more we could have asked for. We will definitely be returning!
First time coming here to actually eat after living in Whittier for 2 decades. I usually have only come here for drinks. We were seated at waited 10 minutes until I had to flag down a waiter to attend to us. We ordered drinks. The blueberry bourbon mash is quite delicious. The guac burger was worth the hype. It was delicious. And so was the Mac and cheese. From what I was told, the brisket sandwich was also delicious. The loaded potatoes were a little undercooked, and a but hard on the inside. Overall I'd come again.

Not sure how I missed this place before. Big mistake. People are super friendly and service is quick and accurate. The food is very yummy and the prices are reasonable. Went to Steve’s last night looking to eat some good bbq . Start off by saying there’s not much of any good places around Whittier with actual authentic good bbq, but Steve’s by far is thee place that delivers great amazing authentic bbq food that can’t be passed at all!!! The meat
So surprised by this place. The drinks are absolutely amazing. The brisket tacoscabd nachos are world class. The only note: they rub their brisket in espresso, if you have a religious or medical issue, take note. It's not disclosed anywhere.
Amazing staff. Very quick service. Drinks are very good not to strong but also not watered down. The food I give 10/10. The drinks 9/10 they taste amazing but a little pricey. The vibes are amazing, great music, and friendly staff.
