I am always on the lookout for independent coffee shops, and StoryHouse is a real hidden gem. While the outside chairs may appear a bit worn, it is only cosmetic. The variety of cakes available is wonderful, with options such as Chocolate Banana Loaf (V), Passionfruit Drizzle, Raspberry Ripple Loaf, Coffee Candied Pecan (V), and Croissant Loaf. I decided on the Persian Love Loaf (LG) adorned with rose petals and pecans, and it was a fantastic choice. For those not interested in coffee, the tea served in funky glass teapots looks enticing as well. I will definitely be returning to StoryHouse again in the future.
I stopped by today for coffee and a snack, but was disappointed to learn that they had stopped serving hot food. Twenty minutes later, a couple came in and was served toast. Although I had requested hummus on toast, it seemed like they couldn't be bothered. However, I must say that the coconut latte I had was perfect.
We love going to Storyhouse. The coffee is amazing and the cakes are so indulgent! We particularly love the crushed avocado on toast with an americano. However, it's hard to resist the tempting cakes and desserts in this cozy spot, perfect for small groups, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing treat.
I pop in here at least once a week to pick up a coffee it’s always busy. I’m always greeted with a smile and the coffee is great! The food looks nice and as do the cakes. Love the power balls for a healthy option but the Rocky road is def my favourite on a treat day!

Fantastic atmosphere, staff who really care and wonderful food and coffee make this a must visit place when in Crosby! One of the best in Liverpool, and very interestingly, the coffee shop also acts as a venue for a range of creative and community events.
Literally my favourite coffee! Would love you to open one in Liverpool city centre too guys . (Just a note it’s always busy in here around lunch time so get there abit earlier otherwise you might not get a table)
Lovely coffee and a warm welcome is my experience of attending Story House. I have been with friends and grandchildren alike and feel comfortable each time I go. It is a quiet little respite for a weary soul.
Always a nice place to pop in to meet friends and have a hot drink. Coffee's good and strong, tea loose leaves in teapot with strainer. Service friendly and good, never eaten here but quite a few do.

I love this place; my local independent coffee bar. There are always good local vegetarian soups and fab cakes including gluten free. It’s quirky and community minded. Give it a go
