The Buffalo chicken pizza was a letdown; it had very little chicken and minimal Buffalo sauce, making it one of the driest pizzas I've ever encountered. It used to be my favorite, but with the lack of flavor, scarce toppings, and a steep price of $30 for what felt like a one-topping pizza, I doubt I'll order it again. Additionally, I confirmed that I ordered cheese rings but instead received cheese fries. On a positive note, the chef salad was good and came with generous portions of meat; I would definitely order that again. The highlight of the meal was the multi-topping pizza, which was very enjoyable.
I've eaten Cecil Whittakers since I was 6. Our family did the family meal deal every other Friday for years and watched classics like Indiana Jones and Star Wars together. It's been a STL staple for me forever. I've had great orders and not so great orders over the years. But today...today was one of those great order days. The food was hot, fresh, and had perfectly balanced flavors. The staff were joking around and having a good time, laughing, and smiling when I came in and that hit home. It reminded me of what a local pizza place could and should be. Thanks guys! You're what makes St. Louis home
What a gem! The service and food was amazing. The rooms are packed with character and entertainment. The atmosphere feels like home although we wish the tables were bigger for all the food!! Kids meals are under $4 which includes an entree, fries or salad and a drink. Great value for the quality and quantity. The ribs were extremely tough and lacked tenderness. The garlic bread was soggy and damp. When I requested two different sauces, I was informed that I could only have one per plate. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5. Book a table now
I ordered 50 wings to complement the other appetizers for a Super Bowl party, and everyone absolutely loved them, myself included. They were delicious, packed with a smoky flavor, and had the perfect level of heat.
BBQ and the atmosphere here is excellent. do yourself a favor and try this place. the service was very sociable and kind. this place has a good feel to it. menu is similar to a restaurant in el paso i liked.
