Today, I returned to this Subway, despite a previously unpleasant experience, and unfortunately, encountered another one. During my first visit, an older lady seemed visibly frustrated and informed me that I was wasting her time when I asked if my six 6-inch subs could have stickers on the wrapping to prevent them from falling apart. Today, a young lady prepared my footlong sub her way, and only put one scoop of steak on it, even though it cost me over $11. I regret to say that I don't want to come back. This location really has an unfortunate duo of staff.
The staff at Subway were friendly, but the owners refuse to accept corporate or any other coupons. I live on a tight budget, so coupons are essential, not a luxury. Several other Subway locations have the same policy regarding corporate coupons. I won’t be visiting any Subway franchise and will recommend other sandwich shops for business and private events until coupons—which are vital for handicapped veterans and seniors on fixed incomes—are accepted. Sending out coupons is pointless advertising if they aren't honored anywhere.
Hello, I have EBT and the staff charged me tax. I didn’t want to argue, but I tried to explain that EBT is a government program and should not be taxed. The employees seemed unaware and said it couldn’t be changed because of the system. Managers or owners, please train your staff on how to remove tax from EBT purchases, or next time I will have to report this to CalFresh.
The food was good, and the staff was friendly, but I had a $5.99 coupon for a footlong and was told the owner doesn't accept coupons. The price ended up being $9.97. I won’t be returning. Other Subway locations honor the $5.99 coupon for a tuna footlong.
