Recently, while waiting in line at Walmart, I spoke with a former coworker who had been fired for wearing braids in her hair. She revealed that she was paid under the table at a rate below minimum wage, which is illegal. Other employees also shared similar experiences of working illegally under the table while being underage, which violated labor laws for minors in Connecticut. The treatment of employees, particularly women, at this Subway location was discriminatory and racist. Management often hired young, attractive females in high school, and I personally experienced inappropriate behavior from my manager.

I had a positive experience at this Subway location, although there were a few younger female employees who were a bit rude and seemed to rush customers out the door. The food was delicious and healthy, making it a convenient option for those living near Poquonnock, Benham, or Mitchell Street in Groton. The restaurant was well-maintained and quite clean. Overall, I would recommend this Subway despite the occasional unfriendly service.
Pretty much the go-to place to eat when you want a quick bite within walking distance of Electric Boat. I usually go here when it's not normal hours and the cafeteria and food trucks are not operational. The place is usually pretty empty so the service is fast. The people working here are generally friendly as long as you are courteous also. If you like Subway, you will get what you are expecting from this location!

I visited Subway tonight and Mary C has made it my favorite location to come to. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and went out of her way to assist me with my order. Good customer service is hard to come by nowadays, but Mary truly made my day! I hope Subway hires more employees like Mary. Thank you, Mary, I'll see you on Thursday.
The employees that work here are great and always make solid subs. Im just really turned off by the plethora of surveillance cameras all over the place. It's like walking into an FBI sting operation. I'll feel bad for the employees that can't enjoy a second of privacy without being watched by Big Brother.
The staff at this restaurant are young girls who seem more concerned with their Facebook than providing good service, and they are very rude.
