I gave this restaurant a one-star rating for the food because, unfortunately, they never delivered the order I placed through the app. This was just the tip of the iceberg during my first and last experience at the Subway in Long Beach. I ordered two sandwiches for pickup and received a notification saying my order was ready (it was clearly marked as ready!). However, when I arrived, I was informed that they couldn't make one of my sandwiches because they "didn't have meat." This was confusing since both sandwiches I ordered contained meat, and I also saw them prepare a meat sandwich for another customer right before me!

I had an awful experience with the employees on April 15, 2024. They couldn't even be bothered to heat up bacon. It's clear they need to hire people who actually want to work—there are plenty of options available. The management seemed nonexistent, the floors were dirty, and there were hardly any customers; now I understand why. I will gladly take my business elsewhere to a place that values its customers.
Edit: If you're visiting Long Beach and are craving Subway, do yourself a favor and head over the bridge instead. The staff would like you to think that your only option for contact is through their website, which only reflects their lack of care about the store. Just Google the 800 numb...
customer service poor. the Spanish lady had customers and instead of asking for help had us wait and then wanted to over charge on a half of a sandwich and when I told her I rather get the whole she wanted to give an attitude cause it made no sense paying 8 dollars for a half when a whole is 11. Very rude and when I told her to put the bufflo sauce she barely did it and the buffalo chicken didn't even have sauce on it she just sprayed sauce on it.

The Spanish staff in the restaurant often exhibit a bit of an attitude. Perhaps the manager could encourage them to be more helpful to customers who don’t speak English, as they seem to have difficulty understanding when I try to communicate with them.

All the veggies and meat looked old, like it’s been sitting there for a very long while. Didn’t even bother ordering anything, I just walked out.
