This is a bit of a delayed post, but I can't stop raving about how incredible this cake was. I had it custom designed with some basic ideas, and Sugar Fixe truly brought the vision to life with exceptional skill. The birthday girl was absolutely delighted. Not only was the cake stunning, but it also tasted amazing. The price was very reasonable. I will certainly be returning for future events. The staff was wonderful, and it was heartwarming to see their excitement about the final result as well!
Pastries were really good but the person making the coffee was overwhelmed and falling behind; they made me an iced americano and for some reason dumped out half the espresso before adding the water. I was late and didn’t want to hold up the backlog so I didn’t say anything but the drink was basically just coffee-tinged water. Disappointing. Probably it’s great when it’s not busy but they have to be able to accommodate a morning rush. I’d go again—the pastries were great.
After being a loyal and enthusiastic customer it is sad to see how the patisserie has declined so much. The size of the pastries have shrunk and the prices have increased. The scones for example are tiny and more expensive for the larger more tastier scones at Rare Birds. Then the 6 person limit is absurd. All other stores in Oak Park are fully open with no restrictions this place is the sole adherent to an old COVID precaution. Customer service is lackluster.
I am a teacher. One of my families has been treating me to little gift boxes of assorted pastries for special occasions, Parent/Teacher Conferences, -or just because. I have been so very touched by this thoughtful gesture that has made me feel appreciated and pampered! Everything I have sampled has been divinely delectable. I think the almond croissants are to die for. I just placed an order for sharing at Easter brunch! I am sure they will be a hit!

Sugar Fixé made our wedding cake and a full sweets table for our wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! Our guests were raving about how delicious everything was! The cake was absolutely beautiful, and Corrie was so wonderful to work with when we were figuring out what we needed and how much of everything we needed. She was super responsive and helpful! We're so thrilled we went to them for our dessert needs for our big day!
We stopped by expecting to enjoy some French pastries, as the desserts looked incredible. However, we were disappointed when we were denied access to the restroom at 3:50 PM, just after we had purchased coffee and dessert. They informed us that they were closing in five minutes, which is why the restroom was off-limits. I hope the actual owner sees this! It's unfortunate that the staff doesn't seem to value new customers.
My favorite cafe!!! First off, the coffee and the food,Oh my. It’s so delicious, their coffee is so creamy and silky smooth that I always get 2 cups. Lastly, the customer service is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced. Makes me feel so welcomed and it’s quickly become my go to coffee shop
Ordered our wedding cake from Sugar Fixé. Corrie was delightful, easy to work with and responsive. The cake looked beautiful and was delicious!! The lemon cake with lemon cream cheese filling was a crowd favorite!

Terrific place for a good latte and pastry. I had the Broccoli and feta cheese quiche and it was delicious. Also enjoyed the chocolate croissant.
