One thing to keep in mind is that taking the empanadas to go and leaving them on the passenger seat might not be the best idea since they come in a paper bag and can be a bit greasy. However, we usually eat them immediately, so they never actually make it home! We've enjoyed these empanadas many times, especially while doing laundry across the street during our trips to Florida. The staff mainly speaks Spanish but is very friendly, and even though we only speak English, they easily understood our order.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I truly appreciate quality service, and they certainly delivered. The adorable little empanadas were only $1 each, and we tried two flavors: cheese and chicken. Both were outstanding! However, I thought the tequeños were just average—not particularly impressive.
Misleading advertising at Sunny Subs! The menu still displays "$6 footlong," but when I went to pay, I was told the price had increased to $8. The menu should be updated to reflect the current prices.
I've always been curious about why this place is so crowded. After trying the food, I now get the buzz. I highly recommend it—if you haven’t visited yet, you definitely should!
