I was surprised that the nigiri was price so high for one piece. I have almost Also gotten two pieces for around the same price. the sushi was decent for being in the Midwest. The rolls that I had gotten was oddly sitting in truffle oil soy. It made the bottom very mushy. My service was excellent, I was one of the only people in there though. The sushi chef also made a piece on the house for me to try. Overall, I found it to be too pricy for the product served. For the region though, decent, and would dine again. 4/5.
Sushi lovers!!! This is your spot!!! Beautiful decor, amazing vibes and authentic flavors, this is the place to enjoy excellent sushi!! I travel almost 2hrs just to come here and eat!! They have indoor and outdoor dining. Can't go wrong with anything you order. My favorite, must try appetizer: Taco Tokyo ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS Parking: There's limited space on the street. But across the street there is a two story parking garage. It says 3hrs free OR 12hr meter
Absolutely fantastic experience at Sushi Badaya. We came in on a Saturday night on the recommendation of friends and were very pleased with our meal. Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the main course. The service and presentation were superb. Most importantly, the fish was fresh! We'll be coming back for sure! Parking: Depending on the time of day, street parking will be paid or free.
Went there for 5 min with my 11 yo son to order to go, I kindly asked for the menu to the person in front, she then gave the menu to me with the worst attitude and she almost knock something from the desk and the proceed to looked at me so rude!!! I leave the place in that moment… just trying to get some sushi and didnt need the drama

Food SUPERB! Hospitality superb! Presentation superb! Chef Moon, his wife, and Brittany were amazing! Each dish was fantastic. Our friends that we brought with us said it’s the best sushi they have ever had. We happily drive 1 hour from Plainfield because chef moon is the best !
Having lived on the north shore most of my life, I can tell you that the title of best sushi place changes frequently. This place currently has it though. Great service, very knowledgeable servers, and highly quality food.

I got salmon avocado rolls they were super fresh and tasty. Rolls weren't small good portion sizes. Good customer service and food came quick.
Don't know what I like better; the food or the staff! Food is always fresh and prepared to perfection. Staff is SO friendly!
