Very happy to have stumbled on this little treasure, just a short walk from the river & railway station. A calm oasis well away from the tourist traps in city centre. Very nice setting inside with helpful & pleasant staff and great food. We enjoyed the Kirin, Formule Shibuya and California Crab as part of our set meal. All very tasty and the bill for 2 was a very reasonable....coming in under 65 euros. A Must try!
we finally made it here after having been recommended by several friends, one of whom lived in tokyo. the quality of the fish is excellent as well as the miso and salad that came with our menus. service was very polite and the dining room is nicely decorated and impeccably clean. the only improvement I could suggest would be to offer a better quality natural soy sauce or low salt option.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is wonderful. Love the decor. We had a smaller meal as we were not that hungry, so the soup, salad, rice and 12 roll sushi combo was perfect for me. Presentation was excellent.The waitress was very helpful especially when we had car troubles, so she called a taxi for us to get back to our hotel.Would eat there again when back in Carcassonne!
Places like this are relatively hard to find in small towns in the Aude with their moules frites and steak haches.A nice size, well located near the Canal du Midi and train station, the atmosphere is that of fine dining and may even be considered 'romantic'.Alone or in company, well frequented and highly recommended for those of us with the habit of sushi. this sushi bar is brilliant ,it is so clean ,the staff were really helpful and polite. I have never eaten sushi before ,it was an amazing experience. We ate around the carousel and the dishes were fantastic .Each dish is a different price and there is a menu with the prices on would recommend this if you visit carcassonne.
The Sushi Boat for 2 is simply the best value and the freshest combination of Sushi and sashimi we have tasted. The value for money at euros 60 is unbelievable. Very cheap and good carafes of white wine works for us at lunchtimes, quietish
Just when we needed a break from cassoulet we stumbled on this place. Fantastic sushi and great attentive service. The place was absolutely spotlessly clean and I can highly recommend the tuna skewers. Fantastic place highly recommended

"Very quaint place with average service but above average food. We seat upstairs the fist night and enjoyed the 28euro menu items and salads. For New Years we had a 42 Euro menu which was fantastic. Highly recommend this place."
