Terrible service. I've been a customer here for over 10 years, but today when I walked in to sit down, I was told no. Not even five minutes later, two Caucasian women came in and were allowed to sit down and enjoy their soup and sushi. This treatment was incredibly unprofessional, and I will never be coming back. They deserve all the negative reviews they have here. I recommend proceeding with caution.
We've been getting take out from this place regularly for seven years. This is one of the best and freshest fish I've had. The couple that runs it is very nice. This place is a gem in a neighborhood where you would not expect a great sushi restaurant. Prices are good too. Highly recommend!
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. We've been coming here for years and consider it the gold standard for sushi. Nothing compares to Sushi Boy. The fish is consistently fresh and delicious. While we usually have a regular order, we like to mix things up and are never disappointed.
The food and service were below average. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, as if we were intruding. The miso soup was old and lacked both seaweed and tofu. The rice was nearly mushy, and the fish was hardly distinguishable. They really need to improve their standards. Food rating: 2/5. Book a table now
My first time. Food quality is excellent. More filling than expected. I ordered 3 orders. Not even half way and i am full. Spicy Tuna crunch is a larger portion. Amazing. Only complaint is it was little warm inside. But probably due to weird humid weather we are having.
I was surprised to see a rating of 4.2 stars for this restaurant. I don't mean to be harsh, but the rice tasted stale, and the sushi fell apart easily. The sweet potato seemed like it was just a regular potato. I doubt I'll be ordering from here again. Food: 1/5.
Best Sushi I've ever tried in NJ. Good size and the fish is fresh and it's made with love lol. I just loved it. Got a surprise treat with my purchase, that was pretty cool. I thought of making a clever review but I am just happy with my food.
