Delicious and authentic Japanese comfort food in Peoria. The food was outstanding however our server kept forgetting stuff he forgot the Sake, forgot the Ramune soda, forgot the wasabi and ginger… seriously, it was annoying. The place could use some decor, a couple of walls seem really bare. There is a large TV though, and they had the playoffs showing so that’s cool for sports fans. Regardless, I’d definitely go back for the food but avoid that server. The food is worth it, we had the seafood yaki soba ramen, creamy veggie ramen, pork fried rice, chicken curry katsu, dragon roll and mochi for dessert. The dragon roll was amazing largest pieces of eel I’ve ever had on a roll!
This is our family's favorite nigiri sushi place. Their yellowtail is the best that I've had in the west coast. Paste some fresh Wasabi over it and it is heavenly. The saba can be overly fishy, but Mr. Lee prepares it perfectly. He also selects the best uni which we have once in a while. I've been to several sushi places in California and Arizona. This is the best because theie yellowtail is the best. The staff are friendly and atmosphere relaxed.
This restaurant is completely serious about its cuisine. This place was recommended by a friend of mine, and I believe it is the number one place in Arizona. I highly recommend it. I forgot to take a picture so I took this picture while I was eating This is probably where you would have to stand in line if you were at Asu University, which is a little closer.
This is the best sushi restaurant in the area! Everything was fantastic. The sashimi was fresh and a good size, with sauces that were just the right amount of tasty. We also tried the Cucumber Seaweed salads, soft-shell crab, 12 piece sashimi, and salmon mango roll. Everything was absolutely delicious! Book a table now
The food at this restaurant in Japan was mediocre. I decided to visit based on Google recommendations, but was disappointed with my experience. I even gave the shop a second chance, but unfortunately, it was even worse than my first visit. The service also deteriorated with each visit.
The cherry blossom is one of the best sushi rolls I’ve had around. Delicious thick tuna. The salmon mango was also amazing. Atmosphere is a bit cramped esp if you have loud drinkers, but the sushi was worth it. Best I’ve had out of the 3 close by.
Sushi is the best around and service is always friendly and good. Highly recommend. It is a mom and pop and has the atmosphere as such if you want fancy drinks and furniture this isn't it. If you want great sushi they won't disappoint.
