I pulled into the parking lot to buy some tools and I noticed a nice big sign sushi and kimchee I was very excited I love kimchi I walked in I asked the girl at the front desk who was a brand new employee I would like to order a small portion of the kimchi she said it was five dollars I said no problem she then proceeded to make a phone call in which the owner had gotten back on the phone and said because I?m not ordering any other meals it?s $7.50 I left and I said OK fine let me see the menu show me where kimchi is on the menu maybe I?ll order a different variety she said kimchi is not listed on the menu I pointed out the name of the restaurant and said thanks but no thanks and walked out...
Don't be fooled by the multiple (two) cuisines offered. This place has one of the tastiest soondubu-jjigae I've had in America. It was so tantalizing that we even forgot to snap a picture of it before eating! Very fragrant; complex flavors. Maybe more diverse and larger seafood bits would be good. However, the soft shell crab sushi was average. The teriyaki sauce on it took away from how good it could've been, and the soft shell crab was not as crispy as it should be. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, but the soft shell crab really disappointed so unfortunately I'd have to round down. Though I must say that this place is 100% deserving of its 4.6 average.
Yesterday evening we dined at Sushi Kimchi in Nyack, NY It's bright, lovely establishment with good energy. The sushi platter and the various rolls we tasted were delicious and the service provided was both friendly and attentive. Gina Moon, the proprietors, made sure that every need we had was promptly addressed. The prices were reasonable and in line with other dining establishments in the county Great find, recommended. We came here on a Saturday night and were extremely pleased with our experience. The Korean BBQ was deliciously authentic and the sushi was incredibly fresh. We tried the bibimbop, the Korean BBQ bowl, and the sushi deluxe, and all were delightful. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The prices are also very reasonable and the restaurant is conveniently located near Palisades Mall. Definitely choose to eat here instead of the food court. We will definitely be returning soon!

We stumbled upon this gem and we were lucky to do so! Not much to see from the outside but looks are deceiving! It actually reminds me of a couple places I've been to in Japan. The employees were very sweet and attentive. They were all so good with my 6 7 year old kiddos (they have crayons and kid chop stix)! Now to the food!!! The tuna tartar was as good as I've had anywhere. The veggie udon was perfect. The seafood salad was the best! We also ordered a few rolls which were excellent.
The food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty. The staff are very friendly. We ordered the seafood pancake, shumai, spicy kani salad, beef tofu soup, Christmas roll, bulgogi bibimbap, and chicken teriyaki. Everything was absolutely delicious. The teriyaki sauce was perfectly balanced - not too sweet or salty, which made it stand out from other teriyaki dishes I've tried. The Christmas roll had a great mix of flavors.
This restaurant is one of the best Japanese/Korean restaurant I have been to. Priced very well for the quality you get. I loved the bulgogi soup. Their bibimbap and rice bowls were also yummy. I want to try their rolls next time. The ambience was way relaxed and service was excellent. My kids had a fun time drawing and their artwork were put up in the wall. Will definitely be back!
We ordered the crazy rolls and seafood pancake, and both dishes were delicious! The seafood pancake was fresh and filled with octopus and shrimp. The server was very hospitable and friendly. Thank you! We would definitely return!
