I have to revise my earlier review. One rarely goes back to a bad restaurant but if a good one degrades you keep on going back hoping for improvements. Sushi+ used to be a great place. I have been there many times. The last 3 times, yes I gave them 3 chances, they have been poor. In particular their service and attitude has changed with success. After 3 times, I am done. Well, I seemed to have missed the mark this time. Despite being a popular spot, this restaurant is actually Korean owned. I heard the owner speaking Japanese before. I stopped by for a quick dinner and unfortunately, I was not impressed with the flavor. The nabeyaki was too salty and the chicken dish was lackluster. I ordered two rolls, but both the salmon and mango on top were poorly cut, as if done by an inexperienced chef. I wondered if they were training new staff. Yum! One of the best Chirashi bowls I have ever had. It came with a miso soup and side salad as well, which was a nice touch. The slices of fish were thick and tasted very high quality. The service was relatively fast, but the wait staff looked pretty overworked as there were only 2-3 waiters for the entire restaurant. Overall, I had a pleasant meal at Sushi Plus and will definitely be back for the Chirashi special again.

Their payment system was down so you had to order online or pay cash. I ordered online and they packed my order to go and then didn't tell me it was ready. I waited about 30 minutes before asking how my order was doing and then they unpacked it and brought it out. They also only had bottled water for $1/ea no tap to drink which was a little weird. Food is overall pretty good if a little salty.
Takeout order: 7/10 Salmon Hawaiian Poki $16 salmon with seaweed salad basically. Decent serving size but mainly seaweed. Everything was fresh but average in taste. 5/10 Miso Soup $4 on the salty side! Very little bits of tofu and seaweed. Definitely can pass on this.
This restaurant is located in a beautiful plaza and offers delicious Japanese dishes. I ordered a large bento box which included chicken teriyaki, salad, miso soup, tempura, and salmon sashimi. The salmon sashimi was a pleasant surprise with its thick slices.
The food at this restaurant was amazing. However, the service was slow. We ended up ordering takeout instead of dining in. The spice tuna roll and hamachi avocado rolls were particularly delicious.

My family and I have been going to this place for years. The agedashi tofu is INSANE. I could eat so many orders of it. My go to roll order is the spicy crunch add avocado. Also super delicious.
The best sushi on the Peninsula! A true neighborhood joint we've been frequenting for years. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is so kind and accommodating as well!
