My wife and I came here for our 5 year anniversary. This place was better than anything we were ever expecting! Everything was well above your average sushi restaurant. We started off with spicy garlic edamame, which weren?t that spicy but were very flavorful! We also had ?tuna nachos? which we had never heard of before but were very clever and tasty! My wife got the Tierra Verde, Sakura, and Buccaneer sushi rolls (makimono). I got the sashimi dinner, which was very much worth the price! As a first-time visitor to Sushi Rock Grill, I can confidently say I'll be coming back. The meal was outstanding, and the service exceptional—everyone was incredibly friendly, which I really appreciated. I was lucky to have a beautiful outdoor seat right by the water, especially stunning at sunset. I tried the Volcano Lobster Roll from their menu, and it was truly fantastic—one of the best lobster rolls I've ever had, and very satisfying. I also enjoyed fresh crab wontons as an appetizer, paired with a refreshing Japanese orange soda. I absolutely love this place and look forward to returning to explore more from the menu, especially the other sushi rolls!
First time customer. I know I will be back. I had this amazing meal. The service there was phenomenal they were so friendly. I really appreciate that. I had a great seat outside next to the water. It is very nice during sunset. I had the ???? volcanolobster roll. That lobster roll was amazing. One of the best lobster rolls I have ever had. It is so filling. I want to try morebut I couldn't. Oh and for an appetizer I had the crab wontons which were fresh. And a Japanese orange soda. Love this place Iwill be back again. I love fresh sushi. I can't wait to try the other rolls.
The food here is absolutely amazing! The pad see ew with shrimp was exceptional! My fiancé thoroughly enjoyed the Thai chili steak. The sushi was outstanding; we ordered the St. Pete roll and the TNT roll. The TNT roll had the perfect amount of spice and became our favorite! The charming little pond on the back porch added to the ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant – it’s a solid 10/10!

I highly recommend Sushi Rock Grill, especially the patio area by the water. The food was excellent, and the service was good, though a quicker iced tea refill during our meal would have been nice, but it wasn't a major issue. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, and while it was slightly on the pricier side, it was still reasonable. Their noodles and curry are also fantastic options.
Highly recommend this spot, and recommend sitting out on the patio by the water. The food was great and the service was good, maybe needed a bit faster refill on some iced tea when our meal came out but not a deal breaker for sure. The sushi was freshand tasty albeit a touch pricey, but not too bad. Other great options were their noodles and curry.
Fantastic neighborhood sushi spot. The sushi, maki rolls, specialty rolls, and pan-Asian dishes are all fresh and delicious. They also offer a good selection of wine, beer, and sake (both warm and cold). I've dined here multiple times and have always left satisfied. This is definitely my favorite sushi restaurant!
Conveniently located near Tierra Verde, Sushi Rock Grill offers attentive and friendly staff with prompt service. The fried rice was average, and we should have chosen the shrimp Pad Thai instead of the beef, as it lacked flavor. We plan to try it again but will opt to dine in rather than take out.

Amazing food!!! The pad see ew with shrimp was to die for! My fiancé got the thai chili steak and enjoyed it very much. Sushi was so so good, we got the st. pete roll and tnt roll. TNT was just a little spicy, but our fav!!! The little pond on the backporch was very cute too! 10/10 recommend!!
