The only place in Hanover for Sushi/Sashimi and Korean. The sushi is not close to being really good, but good enough if you long the stuff and make careful decisions. The service is slow, they seem somewhat overwhelmed, although they are only open to takeout. A tip to get the most out of their sushi is to avoid late hours because they really fall the ball with sushi construction later on the day. The Korean is good, the raven is not. I absolutely adore dining at SushiYa with my family! The sushi is both tasty and innovative. The standout item on the sushi roll menu is definitely the Super Dragon Roll - it's simply amazing! I also enjoy sampling the Korean dishes, as there is nothing else like it in the Upper Valley. Even my two year old son loves the Half Udon noodle bowl with broccoli, veggie tempura, and steamed veggie gyoza. The staff is consistently friendly and efficient. Without a doubt, we will be returning to SushiYa time and time again!
This restaurant in the Upper Valley is a fantastic spot for sushi. Their lunch special Maki combos and Benton boxes are always a delicious and budget-friendly option. Their miso soup is excellent, and they also serve Korean small dish appetizers with every meal, which is a nice bonus. Don't forget to try their house tea for a warm and comforting beverage.
Pretty good experience. Very nice ambiance and good variety of food. Fairly priced and super delicious. Service is variable. Sometimes it's fast and they're super nice (bring a Korean), but sometimes it's crowded, they're understaffed, and forget stuff. Best if you want high quality Korean food!
