I've just had the most relaxing four nights at Bankground farm. We stayed in The Loft' cottage, which had everything we needed for a self contained stay, including a lovely fire with firewood supplied.The location is amazing, with stunning views over the lake and further on to The Old Man'. What really appealed to me is Bankground farm is away from Coniston center, but very close if you need to pop out to the pub/shops etc.Jonathan and his team of staff were very welcoming, had excellent local advice and knowledge of things to do and see around the area. Jonathan and his team are amazing. this was our 3rd stay in bank ground farm and we will certainly return again! the prospects are fantastic about the Coniston waters and the kayak and paddleboard rental is brilliant. the rooms are located and the facilities are simply perfect. eating on the farm is for dying! would recommend a stay here. 5 stars location. 5 stars service and 5 stars eating
Great BnB for a weekend getaway. Friendly staff, accommodating to late arrivals, and very clean rooms. Breakfast was good! Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Nine girls had a fantastic Hen weekend in The Barn. The views were amazing and the lake a short walk away for activities like paddle boarding, which was amazing.
