I 've just had the most relaxing four nights at Bankground farm. We stayed in 'The Loft ' cottage, which had everything we needed for a self contained stay, including a lovely fire with firewood supplied. The location is amazing, with stunning views over the lake and further on to 'The Old Man '. What really appealed to me is Bankground farm is away from Coniston center, but very close if you need to pop out to the pub/shops etc. Jonathan and his team of staff were very welcoming, had excellent local advice and knowledge of things to do and see around the area. Jonathan and his team are amazing. This was our 3rd stay at Bank Ground Farm and we will certainly be returning again! The views are fantastic over Coniston waters and the kayak and paddle board hire is brilliant. The rooms are spot on and facilities are just perfect. Food on the farm is to die for!
