I was really excited when this bakery opened in our neighborhood. At first, the cupcakes were delicious and moist, but I started to notice a decline in quality. The biggest change was the icing; it has gone from sweet to waxy and overly whipped. Personally, I’m not a fan of whipped icing! My husband surprised me with two cupcakes today, and I hoped they would be the originals I loved, but sadly, they weren't. Not only were they stale, but the icing was terrible as well. I even took the time to call the store about it. The cupcakes from the store tasted better in the past. I think I’ll stick to small cakes from Annapolis/Columbia or Cakes Plus from now on. I don’t mind paying for quality, but...
I ordered 3 cakes! They had a great taste. They were not to sweet! The Decor was done well! The pictures had lines in them like that of a picture from a printer that is beginning to run out of ink! Was able to work with them as is and the owner offered to discount the pictures which were 15.00 a piece not the cake for she said it was already made! My first day ordering I felt uncomfortable, because I was undecided and was taking to long! Everyone was working with me especially Shae, she was very nice and friendly! I was happy with the cakes and so was the retiree! I would ride from Whitemarsh to Ft. Meade for a special made cake from Sweet Eden any day! Pricey but worth it!
I had a terrible experience with my baby shower cake. It turned out to be a disaster, and all they could say was that their printer doesn't print in pink. Seriously? How many cakes don’t have pink on them? What I received was an overpriced mess. I won't be returning; I'll stick with Sam's, who knows how to print in pink. I expected something special, but I learned the hard way that just because they charge a lot doesn’t mean they will deliver quality work.
Haven't purchased myself as of yet. Just became familiar with this bakeshop today at a party. All I can say is EXCELLENT!!!!! 5 star rating because my palate said so!!! I'm not a fan of overly sweet icing that shoots into your brain, was hesitant at first, but was amazingly surprised by this delightful, wonderful cake!! AMAZING! Looking forward to stopping by for my own purchase!

I wholeheartedly recommend this bakery! They crafted the perfect cake for my husband's 30th birthday. The design was stunning, and the red velvet with cream cheese frosting was absolutely delicious.

Cake slouched worse then uncle fester at Sunday services.. The icing legit had stale spots and I'll never buy a cake from sweet eden again... Sams club here I come!
Very tasty cupcakes and the staff are always super nice. They use the right amount of frosting, not too much, not too little. I love the carrot cake cupcake!
