I’ve been fans of Sweet Hazel’s candies and cakes for a while.Today I had the opportunity to try their new bistro and it was divine.The Reuben and Breakfast Burrito were the two dishes I chose today and they were excellent.The texture of the breakfast burrito was perfection and the sauce that came with it was the perfect compliment.I didn’t know I missed a Reuben sandwich so much until trying theirs. The bread, pastrami, and kraut combo we’re to die for. I am in love.Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu as well as revisiting both of these dishes.Sweet Hazel should be top of the list for vegans that are either visiting or living in the salt lake area.
Best vegan cannoli I 've ever had! For once in my life I don 't have many photos of the desserts, BUT that isn 't because they aren 't beautiful, I simply do not have it in me to wait a moment before taking a first bite from anything you may find at Sweet Hazel. My vegan partner and I have been coming here for quite a few years now and everything they make is the highest of quality and absolutely divine in taste plus ridiculously affordable. I highly recommend trying any of their chocolate bars! We also adore their cakes, including their tiramisu, funfetti, and their better than sex cake the latter will make you feel a touch lustful in every decadent bite.
The staff is so friendly! They have ridiculously delicious vegan desserts; our favorites were the Boston coconut cream pie, peanut butter chocolate covered frozen bananas, and the Twix bars! You’ll find a small seating area for when local vegan food trucks park right outside.We were delighted to see that they help out the cat community in Murray by displaying a drop box for anyone that would like to donate cat stuff/food.You’ll also find that they sell more than desserts. Vegan Daddy’s meats, chickpea “tuna” salad, locally made cookies, Vegan cheeses, and more. Definitely try this place out!
Sweet hazel is all around lovely and a business that deserves to thrive! Lots of love and care put into the treats and experience ! It's inclusive, queer, and inviting! I'm one happy vegan! First time having vegan pastrami! Wow! Would recommend !
