Their Kao Soi was pretty good, but not as authentic of a flavor as I've had. The taste was pretty sweet, reminded me of HK style curry. The Boat Noodle unfortunately was pretty disappointing, and lacking garlic. I really wanted to like it but the flavor and depth were just not there. i added a lot of chili (and a sauce that mightve been fish sauce with chili? to make the taste more exciting. Wish there couldve been garlic to add instead of only different versions of chili as options. Their coconut water was pricey at I think $7 but very refreshing, and it at least had real coconut meat in it so it seemed a little more worth the cost. Egg omelette with crab was on point, although definitely c...

I first tried Khao Soi when I was in Chiang Mai, Thailand and I instantly fell in love with the dish. Since coming back to California, I have not been able to find a restaurant near me that serves it until I stumbled upon Sweet Rice. The ambiance of the restaurant is a small family owned and reminded of a place you would eat at in Thailand. The service was good and the two women working there were friendly. The Khao Soi was so authentic...the shallots, mustard greens, crispy wonton flakes and Thai chilies were too the point. The serving size was also extremely generous and it is a good price point for the dish. The only issue with this place is that it is a bit small so it can fill up pretty...
I absolutely love this place! I used to come to Thai Bowl for lunch when I worked in Gardena before Covid. They were always fast, convenient, and reasonably priced. I recently found out that Thai Bowl opened a new restaurant nearby that is a bit more upscale, but the food is still amazing. My friends and I ordered the Panang curry (that squash was incredible!), crab fried rice, duck noodles, and khao soi. Everything was delicious and we finished every last bite. I will definitely be returning soon!
Sweet Rice is a charming choice for Thai cuisine! The service is friendly and efficient. They offer a variety of dishes, including rice dishes, soups, and noodles. You place your order at the counter, get your own water, and then sit down to wait for your meal. We tried the crab omelette and boat noodle soup, both of which were tasty. However, I would have preferred a stronger crab flavor in the omelette. The portion sizes are generous, as my brother and I were satisfied with just two dishes. Book a table now
I'm proud to say I'm a regular at this spot! Such a cute little restaurant for some amazing Thai food! Must orders: Tom Yum Ba Mee, Khao Soi, Thai Omelette, Panang Curry and of course Chamanao! The flavors to each dish is amazing and always keeps you wanting to take more bites even though you're full. I do love that they have options for egg noodles since that's my favorite. A must try when you're craving Thai food!
This small Thai restaurant has a casual cafe style. Despite its appearance, the food is authentic and served quickly. I tried the Khao Soi and it tasted just like the one I had in Chiang Mai. I highly recommend this place for a quick meal. The service was great, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was rated a 4 out of 5. The price per person is between $10 and $20. Recommended dish: Khao Soi.
I have to admit, this is the best Khao Soi I've had in California. I recently tried the dish in Indonesia and have been searching for the perfect bowl ever since. This version had pickled vegetables and perfectly cooked noodles. What set it apart was that all the ingredients were marinated in the same spices as the broth, resulting in a creamy and flavorful dish. Highly recommend trying it.
My family's absolutely favorite. It is the cutest shop, but the food is also amazing. The mango sticky rice is a must try, and the congee is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is so good and I would absolutely recommend it. The service is good, and even the deserts are amazing. Book a table now
We ordered different kinds of soup and the thai omelette!! All of them are delish! The service is great too. Highly recommended!
